I missed doing two of my one-time challenges --Farmers Market (and I will do that often in the future when more is there food wise) and hosting a house-party to do meaningful conversation of climate (I can't really count the interfaith climate meeting since it's not at my house  :(  and our next meeting is May 29th) but I invite all of our team to come to this meeting to see how we can continue to work together.
Thanks for being on our eco challenge team.  You done good!

So glad you participated too Merry!  Let me know if a film would help you at a house party discussion.  Need to look at getting the next one sometime soon.  Any other time of the year it could well have been held at your great space!  Enjoy the fresh air.

Just look at the impact we made in two weeks!  The camaraderie we created - I think this time was incredibly impactful and useful.  I certainly became closer to many people I really didn't know well or even at all!!  Thanks y'all!!

We were at the Bird Fest in Leavenworth today and heard David Crossly, author of several bird books, talk.  He reminded us of how important nature and its preservation are and how appreciating young people and their innate curiosity is paramount for the future of our planet.

Joe and I have volunteered for Kids on the Columbia the past three Wednesdays --he paddles Voyager canoes with kids and I do What's That Bird with Audubon.  Third through 5th graders participate in conjunction with the museum.  It's great getting the kids outside, appreciating nature.

I was working in the garden today (my small garden) and setting in pavers for a pathway.  Good way to meet neighbors who see you and stop by.
