    Today I will strive to get 30 minutes of exercise outside and eat a vegetarian menu this weekend!

    Getting my heating and cooling system checked and found out I need some repairs. It will run more efficiently and use less energy now, especially during the hot summer!

    Drove to Seattle this afternoon and blown away by all the cars on the road, including mine.. Makes me think about all the carbon we're dumping into the atmosphere.

    Yesterday I hiked 5 miles on the Glacier View trail with my team captain, Kathy Peven -  it's obvious why we need to take care of our planet but getting up in the hills in our valley really confirms why we should always be working hard to protect and preserve our Mother Earth.

    Today I am going to try not to use my car for any shopping needs, but either bike or walk. I am also grateful for three things, clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and a roof over my head!

    Today, while shopping on-line, I almost bought a skirt for a ridiculous amount of money.  I remembered my "needs vs. wants" and saved $100 on something I wanted but don't really need!

    I realize that I love refined sugar and it's hard to emanate it from my diet. I'm gonna keep trying!

    I walked to McGlinn's for Mother's Day Brunch and I have not driven my car at all today!

    I used a disposable fork and plate for a friend's birthday party - which bummed me out because I knew I had accepted the challenge not to do this. But I was aware of the fact that I was doing it, so that made me feel better knowing that I can still improve.
