Jacquelyn Heath 5/19/2019 9:16 PMDone! Including 2 concerts, an annual report, a garden, and a grant application. Looking forward to a "grand" time with grandchildren. -
Jacquelyn Heath 5/18/2019 8:52 PMWent to Touch a Truck. A lot of fun. And I finally got a good picture of a pot nanny at work. See images. -
Jacquelyn Heath 5/17/2019 11:11 PMI finished filling my flowerpots and saved the plastic plant containers to get a discount on microgreens. I had repainted 2 pots with a crazy idea I had for a paint job. See image. I put recycled wine bottles in pot nannies. Oh, the effort of getting those wine bottles emptied.-
Jacquelyn Heath 5/18/2019 8:46 PMOne of the microgreens places at the farmers ' market appreciates plastic pots. In some towns, you can bring your plastic pots back to your local nurseries and get stuff, or karma, from them. -
Jeanne Poirier 5/18/2019 7:54 PMI had no idea anyone would re-use the plastic plant containers - and personally, I have no problem emptying wine bottles!! I love Two Vines from Washington State! :)

Jacquelyn Heath 5/16/2019 10:04 PMAlmost done. I'm looking forward to "Touch a Truck." Also, I hope to see you at our Appleaires concert, "I've Got Rhythm.!" May 17, 7 PM, Grace Lutheran Church in Wenatchee. Singing is a great way to improve lung function, exercise, and relieve stress. And it doesn't require a lot of equipment or external energy!-
Cynthia Landin 5/17/2019 1:26 PMI'm hoping we can take Neven to "Touch a Truck" but sissy does have a ballet recital tomorrow so we will see...

Jacquelyn Heath 5/15/2019 9:33 PMI didn't spend much time gardening today, but last month I put in time in a community garden. Our church's mission depot grows a garden to supplement the local food pantry. Clients get fresh corn, tomatoes, cukes, and okra in addition to commodities. Sounds like a good project.-
Jeanne Poirier 5/16/2019 9:19 PMNow that' is love in action! Thank you!!

Jacquelyn Heath 5/14/2019 10:22 PMI didn't make my mileage goal today, because I didn't feel very well. I did get wine bottles into my big flower pots, so watering will be more efficient. I have to remember to take a picture of those. Got 4 serving of vegetables easily by making a veggie curry. Enjoyed the flowers in my yard. -
Jacquelyn Heath 5/13/2019 10:28 PMI talked about the pallet garden feature earlier today. Here's a picture. It was only planted Saturday, so don't expect plants. -
Jacquelyn Heath 5/13/2019 7:28 AMAn angry knee joint is interfering with exercise plan. -
Jacquelyn Heath 5/13/2019 7:25 AMFinished garden planting. I used an old wooden pallet, stapled weed repellant cloth over it, filled it with dirt, and planted greens in the spaces. The idea is to keep weeds down between rows. It should also keep weeds under it from poking through. No chemical weed killer used. All repurposed materials.-
Jeanne Poirier 5/13/2019 9:19 PMHow imaginative!! ENJOY those awesome salad greens!!
