Verna Zuttermeister 5/19/2019 8:45 AMThank you for letting me be involved with this Challenge. It has been a big step for me in several areas and I see the world differently today than two years ago. Yesterday I forgot my water bottle and I was planning on getting coffee at Dutch Bros. Normally I would have gotten it anyway. Couldn't buy that disposable cup so I didn't have coffee. I saved the environment and saved some money. Never would have happened before. My life is changed- as long as you don't ask me to give up chocolate.-
Heather Seman 5/19/2019 11:17 AMVerna, a similar situation happened to me as well. I guess you can teach this old dog new tricks! Ha!

Verna Zuttermeister 5/18/2019 11:17 PMFarmers market was a flop for me. There was no produce at all. No someone had radishes and sprouts. There were lots of plants for sale. The peanut man was not there. It was a beautiful day out there and lots of happy smiling faces.-
Jeanne Poirier 5/19/2019 8:16 PMIt'll come.

Verna Zuttermeister 5/18/2019 10:53 AMOff to see what farmers market has this early in the season -
Verna Zuttermeister 5/17/2019 10:38 AMToday I will start to declutter one room. It's not to the extent Kimbris is doing but it will give me some decluttered space. Good for you Kimbris -
Verna Zuttermeister 5/16/2019 10:06 AMStarting goo eco friendly habits is great but one habit that we didn't talk about was connecting to each other every day. I love hearing what everyone is doing. In a few days we break that new habit and I'll miss you-
Jeanne Poirier 5/16/2019 9:07 PMDitto to you and Pat - and I've never met you! -
Pat Taylor 5/16/2019 6:49 PMI agree, Verna. It's fun to read everybody's feed and see what they are doing.

Verna Zuttermeister 5/15/2019 11:28 AMLotsof information in some of these one-time challenges.Interesting -
Verna Zuttermeister 5/14/2019 10:39 PMWow. The day flew by but was able to do a meatless meal, organic meal and increase veggies even on this busy day -
Verna Zuttermeister 5/13/2019 6:57 PMStarting the week with a thumbs down. All my flowers died. I think Vitagreen sprayed the apartment complex grounds and got the plants even the ones I had not transplanted yet. It's not easy to kill a coleus. Do you think I should toss the soil also if I get new plants?-
Jeanne Poirier 5/13/2019 9:03 PMI've never been successful with coleus plants!! Maybe ask Master Gardeners about soil - though I believe dirt to be resilient. There is still time for awesome zinnias!!
