Completed my challenge of picking up trash around the neighborhoods today. Glad I went before the rain, but surprised that Ibfound two full bags of mostly plastic trash!

I tried riding Link today on their Current bus which conveniently goes to the College. 

Happy Mother's Day to all of you who are mothers or have mothers!  Perhaps it's a good day to complete another challenge?  I am going to hike a local trail and try to get that herb garden planted :)

One of my challenges today was to learn more about our Waste Management Landfill.  It was really interesting to find out that they won a Wildlife Habitat Council certification because they use natural controls for invasive species, have installed kestrel falcon nest boxes, and share 80 acres of shrub-steppe habitat as an outdoor learning lab...
