Could be a distant cousin of my grand-dog Kolo!. Beautiful and so happy to be outside!!  Keep posting Sara - we've only a couple more days.  Look how much more I've gotten to know you through the Eco-Challenge!  More very soon or a bit later.  :)

So cleaned out frig.  Can’t say I didn’t waste food.  Lost in there were gr beans, refried  beans, ripe olives, rice, homemade salad dressing, & guacamole.   My only excuse is that all this came about well before the foot surgery and forgotten.   Now I’ll be more diligent, and soon as the weather warms we’ll start the compost.

    • Jeanne Poirier 5/16/2019 8:38 PM
Reminds me of my mom's refrigerator - only perhaps not as bad. I used to tease her about science experiments!!.  You will do better I have no doubt, #3 in Drawdown is not wasting food.  And Sara, if I've not said it before - I adore your profile photo and can't wait to see two feet up, one without a boot on it!  Take care!!

  • Sara O'Daffer 5/15/2019 7:59 PM
WOW is it possible I won something!  Last time I won anything was in 1972  when I won used Ray Clark record.  So thanks for the T shirt if it turns out I’m a winner.

  • Sara O'Daffer 5/09/2019 8:52 PM
Jeanne was thinking I could change it to 5 minute showers,  since I’ve not been able to shower for 10 days.  i know too much information.  I did change out the compost challenge but can’t remember what I changed it to.

  • Sara O'Daffer 5/09/2019 12:46 PM
Haven’t been able to start composting,  darn.  Might have to change out a challenge cuz I can’t walk in the garden with this fricken boot I’m wearing.

    • Jeanne Poirier 5/09/2019 7:44 PM
You might want to pick meditation like I did instead.  Easier on the foot, which has got to be awful this time of year.  Take good care Sara!

  • Sara O'Daffer 5/08/2019 6:33 PM
There is a pencil and reply icon on first post but no such icon when someone replies.

  • Sara O'Daffer 5/07/2019 6:11 PM
Merry. Don’t know how to reply to you message, but yes reading a good book by Tana French that picked out for me. Hopefully when when finished,  it I’ll be able to pick out a book while at the library walking on two feet.

    • Jeanne Poirier 5/08/2019 6:08 PM
I've always been able to hit the "reply/pencil" icon and type a message right back.
Walking on two feet - not having a cold or other illness, oh the things we can take for granted!!

  • Sara O'Daffer 5/06/2019 6:31 PM
Been sorta laid up recovering from foot surgery but in there for the challenge. Doing what is possible with left foot elevated.  Least I’m not using fossil fuels.

    • Merry Roy 5/06/2019 9:42 PM
Sorry you are laid up, Sara.  Are you reading any good books?
