Heather Stacy 5/19/2019 1:03 PMWhat a fun challenge. Excited for another.-
Jeanne Poirier 5/19/2019 8:02 PMI hope so too, but they do not happen on their own. If you (and myself) really want another try next year, we need to commit now to Sustainable Wenatchee to do the work next year to help it happen again. I am not sure I'm there . . . I agree, it's been awesome when you get into it and do it.

Claire Utley 5/19/2019 1:03 PMWent on a 2+ hour walk on the beach today! That definitely counted for some exercise :) -
Annie Dundas 5/19/2019 12:19 PMThis challenge is wonderful and so important it could go all year for me. I have written down all the options and I am going to work on incorporating this into a sustainable life style thank you for the list that is actionable and local for the greatest impact to the world from the resources we have to partner with to make it happen. You rock sustainable Wenatchee.

Heather Rush 5/18/2019 1:35 PMI hate the we cant recycle glass in our recycle bin. frustrating.-
Jeanne Poirier 5/18/2019 7:44 PMWhen they shut down glass recycling years ago in Cashmere, I was told "It's the economics ma'am". Glass can be recycled forever too - I took a Master recycling class YEARS ago when in Portland. Was grateful the high school in Manson took this on and fund-raised for glass crushing machine. It was at Chelan Earth day fair this year - smoother than beach sand. Just wish we could get the final product locally vs. Chelan Ace Hardware - and I'd pay the same for 25# vs.50# - cheap! -
Jaime Garness 5/18/2019 3:39 PMCome to the dark (I mean east) side!
