Wenatchee Valley Interfaith Climate Group Feed
BACK TO TEAM PAGE
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Linda Vickery 5/20/2019 4:55 PMIt was fun doing the challenge. It made me more aware of conserving our eco system. -
Terri Kerr 5/20/2019 1:21 PMThis annual event is always fun and a good reminder to continue making changes for our environment. Something I do is use a large container for saving "leftover" water from water bottles that need to be replenished, pet water, water I run to rid line of hard minerals and use it for watering plants. Bread wrappers can be reused for garbage disposal. -
Irene Morrow 5/19/2019 10:28 PMThank you to Sue Kane for being our fearless leader and such an inspiration to all of us in the challenge to live in sustainable ways and to promote climate justice. Have Faith! -
Dean O'Daffer 5/19/2019 9:36 PMThank you Sue Kane for your leadership. -
Jeanne Poirier 5/19/2019 7:37 PMThank you Sustainable Wenatchee and all the sponsors for bringing us this Eco-Challenge! For myself, it stretched me and held me for two weeks to keep a practice I might not do otherwise. The biggest bonus was being able to read everyone's feed and see how it affected them as well. I learned we are community, we love nature and we are willing to adapt to make the future a better place by our own actions! Blessed Be-
Jeanne Poirier 5/19/2019 7:47 PMPlease don't be freaked by my counter person, Fossil Fuels - there is no living entity inside this creation and if you don't like it, I feel it's a good thing! :). You may have seen us at Chase Bank - and we'll be back soon!!

Merry Roy 5/19/2019 6:18 PMI missed doing two of my one-time challenges --Farmers Market (and I will do that often in the future when more is there food wise) and hosting a house-party to do meaningful conversation of climate (I can't really count the interfaith climate meeting since it's not at my house :( and our next meeting is May 29th) but I invite all of our team to come to this meeting to see how we can continue to work together.
Thanks for being on our eco challenge team. You done good!-
Jeanne Poirier 5/19/2019 7:51 PMSo glad you participated too Merry! Let me know if a film would help you at a house party discussion. Need to look at getting the next one sometime soon. Any other time of the year it could well have been held at your great space! Enjoy the fresh air.
